Types Of Phones Marketed By At&T

AT&T is among the leading wireless service providers in the United States as of 2011. The company offers a variety of phones that they market through their website and advertisements. Among the types of phones from AT&T are touch screen, sliders, bar-style and flip phones. Touch screen phones let you navigate using just your fingers on the screen; slider phones have movable screens that reveal keyboards underneath; bar-style phones have full keyboards and flip phones have an outer screen that flips open.


Touch Screen Phones


The HTC Aria is a touch screen phone with a 5-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi Internet connectivity. The Aria runs using the Android operating system and can connect to local FM radio stations. The Apple iPhone 4 is also a touch screen device that connects to the Internet; it has access to thousands of applications and has room for up to 32 GB of storage. The Palm Pre has a 3-megapixel camera and a media player.


Slider Phones


The Samsung a777 is a slider phone with a 1.3-megapixel camera and a music player. The a777 also has instant messaging and has support for 3G Internet. The BlackBerry Torch has a 5-megapixel camera and slides up to reveal a full keyboard. The phone has 3G capability and Bluetooth wireless capability. The Samsung Strive has basic functions on the outside and a keyboard once you slide the screen up; it also has a 2-megapixel camera and a music player. The LG Neon II and Pantech Impact both have a 2-megapixel digital camera and a full keyboard that slides out.


Bar-Style Phones


The Palm Pixi is a bar-style phone with a full keyboard and a 2-megapixel camera. The Pixi also has organizational features like a calendar, alarm clock and personal organizer. The HTC Tilt 2 has a 3.2-megapixel camera, music player and FM radio capability. The Tilt 2 can also connect to 3G Internet and has instant messaging and Bluetooth.


Flip Phones


The Sony Ericsson W518a is a silver flip phone with a 3.2-megapixel camera and a Walkman music player with FM radio. The phone is 3G capable and has a calendar organizer. The Pantech Breeze II has a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with four zoom levels. The Breeze II also has 3G Internet capability, an organizer and an alarm clock. The Nokia 6350 has a 2-megapixel camera and access to 3G videos online.
