Transfer Itouch Themes From A Pc

iTouches have proprietary design to prevent uploading themes.

The personal audio player has undergone a complex evolution since the production of the first transistor radios. These devices have become virtual personal computers, combining everything from Internet access to media storage and playback. The iTouch from Apple incorporates a touchscreen interface with many of the elements of the iPhone, with an emphasis on games and media. You can alter the "themes" or general interface designs of the iTouch, but in order to upload themes directly from your PC you must use some specific software and special techniques.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the "Apps" section of the iTouch.

2. Download and install a theme customization app. Popular theme customization apps include the WinterBoard app from Cydia/Telesphoreo.

3. Download a theme of your choosing to a folder on your desktop. Choose a name you can easily identify, such as "iTouch Themes."

4. Download and install a Windows Explorer access program on your PC. This program will allow you to access your iTouch with Windows Explorer. Popular choices include DiskAid and iPhoneBrowser.

5. Connect your iTouch to your PC.

6. Start your Windows Explorer access software and open the folder containing your chosen theme.

7. Click and drag the theme from its folder to the "Themes" sub-folder of the iTouch.

8. Eject your iTouch and disconnect it from your PC.

9. Start your iTouch theme customization app and select the theme you uploaded from your PC.
