Set Up A Logitech Headset

Logitech headsets allow you to listen to audio from your computer without disturbing anyone else. Many Logitech headsets also come packaged with a microphone, so you can chat with friends and family over a variety of voice chat programs. Installing Logitech headsets is a user-friendly experience and the software setup guides you through each step. In most cases, the installation is complete in minutes.

Instructions

1. Read the User's Manual to determine whether your computer can support the headset. Ensure that you have the correct version of Windows, enough RAM and a supported sound card.

2. Insert the Logitech setup disc into the disc drive of your PC. Setup discs come with the purchase of all new Logitech headsets

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the headset software. The instructions are different for each headset, but you will generally choose where to install the software, the extras you want with it and you must agree to the terms and conditions.

4. Plug in the Logitech headset when instructed. Most setup discs will stop during the installation and ask you to connect the headset. Logitech headsets connect either via a USB slot in your computer or through two color-coded connectors on the back or front of your computer. Color coded connectors are typically green and pink, where the green is output and the pink is input.

5. Choose to register the Logitech software now, later or never. Click "Finish" on the setup screen to finalize the installation. Elect to restart your computer if asked to do so.
