Instructions For Jabra Vbt185z

The Jabra VBT185Z can be used with most Bluetooth-enabled phones. Wear it on either ear by swiveling or removing the ear hook for hands-free calling. The headset is relatively easy to use, with a large "Multifunction" button located on the front of the headset. Use it for powering the headset on and off and answering phone calls. Before you can start using your headset with your phone, you'll need to charge the internal battery and pair the two devices.

Instructions

1. Plug the headset into a compatible AC charger and allow to charge fully. This typically takes two hours, and full charge is indicated when the LED light turns off. Disconnect the headset from the charging source and leave it powered off.

2. Press and hold the "Multifunction" button for several seconds until the indicator LED remains steadily lit. The headset is now in pairing mode.

3. Open your phone's "Settings" or "Tools" menu and choose "Bluetooth." Select "Look For Devices" or "Add New" to search for the headset. Your phone may take several seconds to search.

4. Choose "VBT185Z" from the list of discovered devices that appears. Enter "0000" when you are prompted for the PIN and press "OK." Pairing is now complete, and the headset is connected to your phone.

5. Tap the "Multifunction" button to answer an incoming call. Your phone will need to be within range to maintain a wireless connection with your headset. (No more than 30 feet away, less if there are obstructions.)

6. Increase or decrease volume during a call by pressing the "Volume" keys. Press the "Volume Up" and Volume Down" keys simultaneously to mute call volume. Repeat to un-mute.

7. End the call by tapping the "Multifunction" button. Press and hold the button for a few seconds (the indicator LED will show a series of flashes) to power off. Repeat to power the headset back on.
