The Motorola V3x is a flip-style cellphone in the company's line of Razr products. Released in early 2007, the V3x can be unlocked to work on any wireless network that uses GSM technology. This means the V3x will work for any network that uses SIM cards. To best use the phone, you must understand all the tools it has to offer.
Organization Tools
To help you wake up or get to where you need to be on time, the Motorola Razr V3x includes an alarm clock. The phone also has a reminder feature so that you can type or record notes to yourself. Reminders are handy for remembering tasks at work, at home, taking down grocery lists, and more. In case you need to add, subtract, divide, or multiply on the go, the phone also has a calculator. The calendar on the Motorola V3x lets you view dates and add important events in advance.
Media Tools
The Motorola Razr V3x features a 2.0 megapixel camera with an optional flash for dark settings. The camera also has a zoom feature that has eight different settings to get the correct distance for a photo. From the camera area, you can also record videos and watch them later. To watch them, just head to the Videos area from My Files and pick the video you want to watch. Using the video, you can also send over video to other mobile users. A music player on the phone lets you listen to any audio files that are MP3, WMA, AAC, or Real Audio.
Calling Tools
To talk to more than one person during the same phone call, you can activate the Conference Call feature on the Motorola Razr V3x. You can set your ringtone to a song file you added yourself, a preset song, a vibrating tone, or completely silent. Speakerphone capabilities allow you to do other things while talking on the phone. The Caller ID function allows you to see what numbers are calling, and if the number is stored in your contact list, you will also see a name. With Voice Dialing, you can record a person's name and then say it aloud to call them.
