Ea Games For The Nokia N93

The Nokia N93's design made it a popular gaming phone.

The Nokia N93 made a name for itself with its multimedia capabilities. It is one of the first phones with a Symbian operating system that came with a TV out connector, which allows you to plug the phone into a television and play your games on a bigger screen. This feature, combined with its sturdy design, made this phone popular for gaming. Electronic Arts released a variety of mobile games compatible with this device so let's take a look at a few.

The Sims 3

The Sims 3 is rated 8.6 out of 10 on the Game Mobile website and earned a Gold award on Pocket Gamer. This game expands on almost everything that has made the series the smash hit that it is. Opening up the neighborhood and allowing you to wander around and visit other sims makes the game more involving, and the expanded conversation options keep things from getting stale. The game also has a new "wish" system, which means that instead of having wants and fears like in the previous games, Sims will now have wishes like "go visit a friend," which will add a few points to their lifetime happiness score and improve their mood. Bigger wishes like "have a baby girl" might add thousands of points to this score. This adds more variety to the game and streamlines things, letting you focus on the bigger picture instead of micromanaging everything. Add in loads of mini-games based on activities you perform and you have a title that will keep you coming back for more, despite the slightly long loading times.

Bejeweled

Thanks to some very nice production values from EA, this classic pattern matching game is every bit as addictive on mobile as it is on other platforms. This game has a ranking of 8.7 on Game Mobile and also got a Bronze award on Pocket Gamer.

Tetris

Perhaps one of the best known and most loved retro puzzle games ever, EA didn't have to do much to the successful Tetris formula before releasing it on mobile. They have included a few extra modes, but all in all this is still Tetris without any fancy tweaks. The game has earned itself a Platinum Award on Pocket Gamer.

Monopoly: Here & Now

With impressive graphics and support for up to four players, this is the perfect game for those that want to play the classic board game without the hassle of lugging the actual board around. It received a Silver Award from Pocket Gamer and a combined score of 8.6 on Game Mobile.

EA Sports FIFA 10

With a selection of official leagues and teams, FIFA 10 is a popular game amongst football fans on the go. While the graphics can't compare to the bigger console versions, they are still very good by mobile standards and the gameplay is just as engaging. The side-on 2D view can cause the game to be a bit tricky to play at times, but this doesn't detract from the enjoyment. The game has garnered a Silver award on Pocket Gamer and a combined score of 8.0 on Game Mobile.
