Activate your
Norton software by calling the number provided on your screen.
In most cases, activating a Norton product is done automatically online, upon installation. However, in some cases, you may prefer to activate by phone. In order to do this, you will need to disconnect from the Internet before installing the software and make sure you do not connect the to Internet until the installation process completes. If you connect to the Internet, Norton will automatically begin the registration process and thereafter, you cannot register by phone.
Instructions
1. Install your product by inserting the CD into your CR-Rom drive and following the onscreen instructions. Click "Next" when the information wizard appears.
2. Select the option "Activate your product now, but skip registration" on the next page and then click "Next" at the bottom of the dialogue box. The next page loads telling you that to activate the product, you must communicate with Norton. Select "Next" at the bottom of the screen. The program will try to contact Norton online.
3. Click on the option "Activate my software by phone" when the "Continue Activation" screen loads.
4. Select your country on the page that loads and call the number that loads in the box beside the country you select. Call that number and follow the prompts. Input the numbers in section two of the dialogue box on your screen when prompted.
5. Input the unlock code provided on the call-in section three of the dialogue box and press "Next" to continue. The software will activate and load a confirmation screen. Make sure you copy down the product key listed on that page, or print it out for your records.
