Charging Times For The Nokia N75 Cell

Your Nokia N75 lets you make calls while on the go as well as access the Internet.

From accessing your favorite music to checking your emails, the Nokia N75 lets you perform a variety of tasks without having to access your computer. Your Nokia N75 contains a rechargeable battery pack, BL-5BT, that needs charging for at least 12 hours before using the smartphone for the first time. Use your phone's included battery charger to initially charge the smartphone as well as to replenish the battery's charge.

Battery Life

Your Nokia N75's battery provides electrical power to your smartphone for up to approximately 200 hours in a non-use state, also known as standby time. The battery provides up to approximately 132 minutes of talk time. Talk time includes any use of the phone including making calls, talking, sending text messages, using the Internet, and playing music and video files. Some applications, such as accessing the Internet and playing music and video files, consume battery life faster than making calls.

Charging

Charge your Nokia N75's battery whenever the "Low Battery" warning appears on your phone's display. The charge time is approximately four hours and varies with your phone's age. Once the battery is charged, disconnect the charger from your phone to keep from overcharging the battery and shorting its lifetime.

Battery Type

Your Nokia N75 contains a lithium-ion, Li-Ion, battery with a voltage rating of 3.7 and receives its charge directly from a Nokia-approved charger including a wall or car charger. Replace your Nokia N75's battery when it no longer holds a charge or powers on your phone.

Battery Discharging

You do not have to fully discharge your Nokia N75's battery and charge it again like nickel-cadmium batteries. Li-Ion batteries do not develop a memory affect like nickel-cadmium batteries. Memory effect is a condition that develops when you charge a nickel-cadmium battery that is not fully discharge. The battery remembers the amount of time it took the charger to previously charge the battery and stops the charging process once the previous recharge time is achieved. The memory effect shortens a battery's lifetime. But you must use your Nokia N75 phone to keep its battery functioning properly. If you are not planning to use the phone for a month or longer, remove its battery and store the component in a cool, dry place.
