Nokia's E63 model cell phone does not come with a built-in feature that will allow you to block specified phone numbers. You can, however, install a third-party call filtering application to your Nokia E63 that can perform this task. There are quite a few call filtering applications on the market that can be used with the Nokia E63. The Nokia E63 is based on the Symbian S60 3rd edition platform; therefore, the app you install must be compatible with this platform. Advanced Call Manager and Call Filter are just a couple of the apps that can be used to block numbers on a Nokia E63.
Instructions
Install App
1. Download the Advanced Call Manager, XBLOCKR or Call Filter .sis file from the Web. Save the file to your desktop.
2. Plug one end of the USB cable, which came with your E63, into the phone's USB port. Connect the other end of this cable to an available USB port on your PC.
3. Launch the Nokia PC Suite program on your PC.
4. Click "Install Applications."
5. Browse to the directory where the .sis file you downloaded in Step 1 was saved.
6. Double click on the .sis file to install the app on your phone.
Block Number Using Call Filter App
7. Launch the Call Filter app.
8. Select "New," then "Enter Number."
9. Enter the number you want to block.
Block Number Using Advanced Call Manager App
10. Launch the Advanced Call Manager app.
11. Select "Default Action," then "Options" followed by "Send busy tone." Select "Back" to return to the main screen.
12. Select "Manage Lists" followed by "List." Enter "Blocked Numbers" in the "New List Name" box, then select "OK."
13. Select "Phonebook." Browse to find the number in your contact list you want to block and select it. Or, if the number is not stored in your contact list, select "New" to add the number to the list manually. Select "Done."
14. Choose "Active Mode" from the main screen. Select "Options," then "Reject from black list" and "Blocked Numbers" list.
Block Number Using XBLOCKR App
15. Launch the XBLOCKR app. Select "Yes" if prompted to enable features.
16. Select "Number List," then "Ducked Numbers" and "Add."
17.Enter the number you want to block.
