Nokia E90 Tips

Nokia E90 is like a mini-office in the palm of your hand. With this mobile communication device you can prepare, receive and send documents, communicate via email or receive and make phone calls, obtain GPS information, and take pictures or listen to music on the radio or media player. Learn five tips on make the most of your mobile mini-office communication and entertainment system.

Conferencing

Take advantage of the Nokia E90's PoC and hands-free capabilities. Make life simpler, use the PoC push-to-talk feature to hold conference calls and work in a team environment with more than one other mobile office worker at a time. And use the hands-free option, with built-in speaker, to multitask as you conduct business or drive down the road. Since the Nokia E90 is approximately the same length as a ballpoint pen and very lightweight, don't leave it behind on a table. Its size and weight make it convenient to carry -- and so small as to stash in your coat jacket, but it can also make it easy to accidentally leave behind.

Video Camera

The Nokia E90 offers users the ability to connect with anyone in the world via phone, but don't stop there. Use your E90 to video conference with your fellow office workers in order to keep some measure of face-to-face interaction. Your 3G mobile broadband capability supports video conferencing as well as Internet browsing and file sharing needs. Use that benefit to your productive advantage, ensuring your boss continues to support the flexibility enjoyed as a mobile worker -- or your spouse can see you're really working.

Office

Another tip for using the Nokia E90 pertains to document creation and sharing. Choose to create documents on compatible software programs to the Nokia E90. This includes Microsoft Office and Quick Office products. If world travel is part of your professional or personal life, choose to use the Nokia E90s GSM band option, which will automatically switch to the proper GSM band for the continent you are on. Don't forget that you have up to 14 days GSM standby time and need to guard against exceeding that amount.

Memory Storage

The Nokia E90 uses a 512 MB microSD card, which happens to be the smallest on the market as of 2010. An important tip if you want to use your microSD card on other devices is the need for a standard adapter. You can't use your microSD card from Nokia in normal-sized mobile devices; it won't fit. Likewise, the Nokia E90 also uses a mini-USB, so you will need a standard adapter for that as well.

Other Tips

Don't stop and ask directions; use the GPS system on your Nokia E90 instead. Don't buy a camera either; one comes with this communication device and it even has 3.2-megapixel capability, as well as automatic flash and focus.
