Open A Battery Icon On An Iphone

Your iPhone battery icon appears in the upper right corner of the device's screen. When connected to a power source such as a computer or wall outlet, you can also view the battery icon as a large object across your screen. The icon informs you of how much battery life remains on the phone. If it appears fully shaded, you have the maximum battery life available. If it appears only slightly shaded and red, you need to charge your battery soon. You can access your battery options and specifications within your "Settings."

Instructions

1. Access the main menu of your iPhone (known as the Home screen) and click the "Settings" icon. By default, it appears on the first page of the menu and features three gray gears.

2. Tap the "General" option, which features the same gray icon as the "Settings" application that you just tapped. The "General" option should appear on your screen as soon as your settings finish loading. If you can't see it at first, scroll down the page with your finger until you find it.

3. Tap the "Usage" option near the top of the page. On the following page, you can view all of your current battery usage specifications, including the amount of use since your last charge and the remaining available usage.

4. Tap the "Battery Percentage" switch at the top of the page to select your preferred battery icon appearance. If you set the switch to the "Off" position, you will see only the green battery icon in the upper right corner; if you set the switch to the "On" position, you will see a percentage sign beside your battery icon, indicating the amount of remaining battery life. Tap the switch to alternate between the "On" and "Off" positions.
