Some computers have to use Bluetooth Dongles to become Bluetooth enabled.
Transferring songs to your Virgin mobile phone from your PC via Bluetooth takes only minutes. It's a fast and convenient way to transfer music files without needing USB data cords, software installation or memory sticks. You can also transfer music files to your Virgin mobile phone from another handset.
Instructions
Syncing the Bluetooth Devices
1. Switch on your cell phone on, go to the main menu, find Bluetooth and enable it. The Bluetooth option is usually under "Connections" or "Settings;" it will be different depending on your phone model.
2. Switch on your PC. If you have a Bluetooth-enabled laptop or PC, just press the function key and F3 to enable your Bluetooth. If you don't, plug in your Bluetooth Dongle, an external USB Bluetooth device.
3. Wait for the installing device's screen to open. A dialogue bubble will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your PC. Once your computer system has picked up the device and installed it, click the "X" to close the bubble.
4. Click the "Start" button or Windows emblem in your toolbar. Navigate up to "Control Panel" and select "Network and Internet."
5. Click "set up a Bluetooth enabled device." Once the dialog window opens, click the word "Add."
6. Click the selection that reads "my device is set up and ready to be found," then click "Next."
7. Find the name of your Virgin mobile phone, click it and then click "Next."
8. Enter the Bluetooth Dongle's passkey that's in the manual that came with the Dongle. You'll be prompted to enter a passkey on your Virgin mobile phone. Enter the same passkey you use for your Bluetooth Dongle.
Transferring Songs
9. Locate the song on your PC.
10. Right-click the song, then select "Send To, Bluetooth."
11. Select the name of your phone from the Bluetooth device list and click "Next."
12. Click "Accept" from your Virgin phone to start the file transfer. Once the file has been transfered completely click "OK."
