Jabra has been manufacturing wireless accessories since the early 1990s. The company's Bluetooth headsets come in a variety of styles designed to give you hands-free use of your mobile device. To use the Jabra Bluetooth, you will need a compatible phone that supports a headset profile. You will also need to install the headset; the setup process is not difficult and only needs to be done once. Before you begin the installation, charge the Jabra device fully. Disconnect it from the charging source when the indicator light turns green.
Instructions
1. Place your headset in pairing mode. For most Jabra headsets, this is accomplished by pressing and holding the "Answer/End" or "Power" button for about five seconds. Release the button when the indicator on the headset is lit and glowing steadily.
2. Press the "Menu" button on your phone. Select "Settings" or "Tools," depending on the brand and model, and then select "Bluetooth."
3. Select "Add New Device" or "Search." (Press "Yes" if you are prompted to turn on Bluetooth.) Your phone will attempt to locate the Jabra headset -- make sure the headset is within 25 feet of your phone for best results.
4. Highlight the name of your Jabra headset from the list that appears. Choose "Pair."
5. Use your phone's keypad to enter the headset's pairing passcode of "0000." Press "OK" to complete pairing.
