Mxkey Box Tools

The MX-Key can service, repair and unlock many cell phones.


The MX-Key is a collection of software, cables, and tools used to repair and service mobile phone devices manufactured by Huawei, Vodafone, and HTC. These phones are commonly released under the Nokia, Blackberry, and Siemens brands. The MX-Key is a USB drive. The MX-Key is typically packaged with an SL3 activation key, required to safely unlock phone security features, and an HWK repair cable, required to reprogram the MSP430F1121A firmware.


Features


The MX-Key USD drive features a Flash-based MCU, PPM and content pack, an ADSP and APE variant and an APE user disk. The MX-Key features the ability to back-up and restore IMEI data, and make IMEI and ESN changes. The MX-Key can also be used for CDMA phone tuning.


Interfaces


The MX-Key supports many mobile phone interfaces. These include: the UFS2 interface, JAF interface, MTBOX interface, DCT4 interface, USB DCT4 interface, Blackberry 5 interface and the Serial/COM Port interface on DCT4 and Blackberry 5 mobile devices.


Nokia DCT3 Features


The MX-Key USB device is fully compatible with the Nokia DCT3 mobile device. The MX-Key device supports the following features on the Nokia DCT3: a complete read/write/erase of the Flash file, software updates, factory resets, production data editing, menu enabling, net monitoring, read/write of product profiles, resetting of the start-up logo, ADC read, base band testing of the LCD Pattern, RF, and Buzzer, a read/write of LCD contrast, and direct rebuilding and repair of the IMEI.


Nokia DCT4 Features


The MX-Key is fully compatible with the Nokia DCT4 mobile phone device. The MX-Key supports the following features on the Nokia DCT4: complete software update of MCU, PPM, CNT, ADSP, and APE languages, CDMA flashing, flash read/write/erase, complete factory reset, system and file formatting, data editing, menu enabling, EEPROM(PM) read/write, RF/BB read/write, net monitor field test,


ADC read, Bluetooth ID/MAC testing, base band self test, read/write LCD contrast,


base band test (LCD Pattern, RF, and buzzer, Audio, BT, Lights, Vibrate, PM radio, camera, IR, MMC, SIM, Watchdog timer), system mode read/write, band type read/write, rebuild and repair of IMEI by RPL, IMEI/ESN change, and direct security unlock for DCT4 and DCT4Plus.


Blackberry 5 Features


The MX-Key is also fully compatible with the Blackberry 5 mobile device. The MX-Key enables and repairs the following features on the Blackberry 5: full software update (MCU/PPM/CNT/ADSP/APE), custom flash erase, complete factory reset, format file system/user area, production data edit, enable specific menus (product profiles), custom EEPROM(PM) read/write, PMM/SX4 authentication server, RF/BB read/write, ADC read, Bluetooth ID/MAC test and fix, base band self tests, read/write LCD contrast, base band test (LCD Pattern, RF and buzzer, Audio, BT, Lights, Vibrate, PM radio, camera, IR, MMC, SIM, Watchdog timer), system mode (band) read/write and band type read/write.
