Use Plantronics Bluetooth

Use Plantronics Bluetooth

Plantronics Bluetooth headsets are available in a wide array of styles. Whether you own a headset from the Discovery, Voyager or Explorer series; there are a few key instructions that apply regardless of model. Plantronics brand headsets are compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled wireless phones.

Instructions

1. Connect your headset to a compatible AC adapter (included in the box) and allow it to charge fully. This normally takes about three hours. The headset's indicator light will change from red to blue when charging has completed.

2. Press and hold the "Power" or "Call Control" button (depending in headset model) for three seconds until the LED light flashes, indicating that the headset is on and in pairing mode.

3. Power on the phone you wish to use with your headset and open the main menu. Select "Settings/Tools" and choose "Bluetooth." Select "Find New" or "Add" to locate your Plantonics headset. This may take a few moments.

4. Highlight the name of your headset (Plantronics, followed by model number) from the list that appears. Choose "Pair." Enter "0000" when prompted for the passkey and press "OK." The headset's indicator light will flash to show successful pairing and will automatically connect to your phone.

5. Position the headset on your ear in a position that feels comfortable. Point the microphone towards your mouth.

6. Tap the "Call Control" button once to answer an incoming call. During the call, tap the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the volume.

7. Disconnect the call by tapping the "Call Control" button once. Press and hold the "Call Control" or "Power" button to power the headset off and route calls to your cell phone. Power the headset back on to re-connect to your phone. (Your phone's Bluetooth feature must be set to "On.")
