Get Pictures From a Motorola Razr to a PC
To share the pictures from your phone to the masses you need to get it on the computer first. The Motorola RAZR phone has a couple paths you can take to transfer your pictures to the computer. By using a micro SD card or the Motorola Phone Tools program you can drag and drop pictures from your phone on to your computer and instantly share them with friends and family.
Instructions
Micro SD
1. Remove the battery cover from the phone.
2. Insert the micro SD card into the open slot and recover the phone.
3. Open the camera by selecting the "Get Pix and Flix" option and select "My Pix."
4. Select one picture you want to put on the computer and open it.
5. Press "Options" to view a menu.
6. Select "Change Storage Device" and select the SD card. This will move the picture onto the card.
7. Repeat Steps 4-6 for any other pictures you want to move.
8. Remove the SD card from the phone
9. Insert the micro SD card into the SD card adapter that came with the micro SD.
10. Insert the SD card adapter into the SD card slot the on the computer. If you do not have a SD card slot on the computer you must purchase a SD card reader with a USB cable from your computer accessory store.
11. Open the new drive on the computer to view the folders. On a Windows computer you need to open "My Computer," you will see the device there.
12. Copy the pictures from that folder onto the computer.
Motorola Phone Tools
13. Purchase the Motorola Phone Tools software online. You can use Motorola's online store, but it costs $49.99. Check Amazon or eBay for cheaper prices. The software includes the USB cables for the phone.
14. Install the software onto your computer after you receive it.
15. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cables in the kit and open the Phone Tools program. You will be able to view the files on your phone and drag and drop them into the program. You can save the photos on your computer after this transfer is complete.
