Connect The Bluetooth Jabra To A Verizon Phone

Connect the Bluetooth Jabra to a Verizon Phone

If your Verizon Wireless phone is Bluetooth enabled and supports a headset profile, it is compatible with most Jabra Bluetooth headsets. Before you can use any Jabra headset with your Verizon device, you will need to connect it to your phone through a process called pairing. Before you go through the steps for set up, charge your Jabra Bluetooth fully. Use the supplied charging adapter. Charging usually takes about two hours, but can vary based on the model you are using.

Instructions

1. Unplug your headset from the charging source, but do not turn it on yet.

2. Power on your phone and press the "Menu" key. Access your Bluetooth options -- usually found in the "Settings" or "Connections" menu.

3. Select "On" to turn your phone's Bluetooth power on.

4. Place your Jabra headset into pairing mode. For most models, you do this by pressing and holding the "Power" or "Answer" button for several seconds, until the indicator light remains steadily lit.

5. Return to your phone's Bluetooth options and choose "Add Device" or "Search." Your phone will attempt to find the headset.

6. Choose the name of your Jabra headset (Jabra, followed by model number) from the phone's "Found Devices" list. Press "Pair."

7. Enter "0000" when the "Enter Passkey" message displays. Press "OK" to complete pairing.
