Troubleshoot The Nokia 5610 Theme

The 5610 is a type of cellphone made by Nokia, a Finnish electronics and telecommunications company based near Helsinki. The 5610 uses "Themes" to control the appearance of the phone's software and how reacts to incoming calls or messages. You can adjust themes on your 5610 should you experience problems with the phone's ringtone, appearance or power setup. Troubleshooting your Nokia 5610 theme is uncomplicated. You should allow approximately 5 minutes for this task.


Instructions


1. Press the "Play/Pause" icon button. The phone's menu will open.


2. Scroll to "Settings" using the four-way navigation controls. Press the "Play/Pause" button.


3. Select "Themes" from the "Settings" menu.


4. Scroll to the particular aspect of the theme you are experiencing problems with. Press the "Play/Pause" button to change a setting.


5. Choose "Select Theme" to change the entire theme. Use this option first to try and clear your problem.


6. Select "Active Standby" to adjust the phone's standby settings.


7. Choose "Standby Font Color" to change the color of the text on display when the phone is in standby mode.


8. Select "Navigation Key Icons" to toggle shortcut icons on or off when "Active Standby" is switched off.


9. Select "Notification Details" to change the information displayed after a missed call or message is received.


10. Choose "Slide Animation" to change the sound and animation played by the phone when the slide is opened and closed.


11. Select "Screen Saver" to change the animation shown when the phone is idle.


12. Choose "Power Saver" to show a digital clock on the screen when the phone is left inactive. This mode saves battery power.


13. Choose "Sleep Mode" to change how the phone "Sleeps" when inactive.


14. Select "Font Size" to increase or decrease the size of the text used on the 5610.


15. Change "Operator Logo" to show or hide your service provider's logo on the main screen. This option is not available through some cell service providers.


16. Press the "Hang Up" button to exit the phone's menu.
