You can find many websites that claim to offer free ringtones for Nokia cell phones. However, downloading any content from these sites may make you a little nervous. You are also forced to choose from whichever Nokia ringtones are listed on these sites. When you make your own ringtone, you know that the file is without any viruses or malware. As an added bonus, you'll never have to pay for any Nokia ringtone that you make.
Instructions
1. Go to the "Custom Ringtone" Web page on the Myxer website.
2. Click "Browse." Once you do, you will be able to go through the different audio files you have saved onto your computer. Find the song you're going to convert into a Nokia ringtone and click "OK." After you select your song, click the "Upload" button. A box will appear on your screen after the song has finished uploading.
3. Make the Nokia ringtone longer or shorter by typing a number between 15 and 30 in the box next to "Length." If you make a Nokia ringtone longer than 30 seconds, you may not hear the entire song before the call goes to your voice mail.
4. Drag the box in the audio section to change where the Nokia ringtone starts. You can preview the entire ringtone by clicking "Play."
5. Click "Continue" when you have finished editing the Nokia ringtone. You will be taken to a "Get Ringtone" box.
6. Enter your phone number into the text box at the bottom. Click "Send to Phone" and your Nokia phone will get a message.
7. Grab your Nokia phone and open the message. Then, click the "Options" key.
8. Choose the "Find" option. After you do this, you will need to choose "Web Address." You will then see the Myxer link to the Nokia ringtone you created.
9. Select the link and then click "Go To." Once you do, your browser will go to the website. Go to the very bottom of the Web page and then choose "Download Ringtone." Click the "Options" key again, and this time choose "Open." Finally, choose "Save" and your Nokia phone will download the ringtone.
