Transferring an LPN license may take some time to complete.
Transferring an LPN license from one state to another state has become much easier due to the increasing popularity of the Internet. The Internet has enabled many steps in the process of transferring licenses for LPNs, or Licensed Practical Nurses, to work faster. Several forms needed for a transfer can be found on websites created by nursing associations and boards. LPNs are able to transfer licenses from the state of Missouri to Kansas after gathering information on their nursing career and filling out applicable forms.

Have the transcripts sent to the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
3. Verify that the LPN license is valid. Visit the National Council of State Board of Nursing's Nursys service (nursys.com) and verify that the LPN license is valid and eligible for the state of Kansas. Nursys provides verification information if you were originally licensed in Missouri. The verification information provided by the system is valid for 90 days.
4. Get fingerprinted. The fingerprints will be used for background checks. Contact the Kansas State Board of Nursing and have a fingerprinting packet mailed to you. Take the packet to a local law enforcement agency to be fingerprinted. Mail the completed packet to the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
