A MicroSD card enables your phone to store large files.
Many phones, especially smart phones, feature Bluetooth wireless connectivity and memory expansion slots for memory cards. These features make it possible to wirelessly transfer files, whether large or small, at a fast rate onto your mobile handset via Bluetooth. Although you can't merge your mobile phone's internal memory to your MicroSD memory card, you can set the MicroSD as the main memory for your mobile handset to receive and send large files via Bluetooth.
Instructions
1. Insert the MicroSD card into the memory card slot on your mobile handset. Depending on the type and make of your mobile device, the memory card slot may be located on the side of the phone or underneath the back cover of the phone where the battery is located.
2. Press the "Menu" key or a similar option to access the main menu screen on your mobile handset when it is in standby mode.
3. Navigate to the "Messaging" icon or a comparable "Messages" icon and select it.
4. Select "Options," navigate to the "Settings" option and choose it. Scroll and select the "Other" option.
5. Scroll to "Memory in use" or a similar option at the "Other" menu, depending on the make of your phone. Select the "Memory Card" or the name of your MicroSD if you've named the card. Select "OK." Now with the MicroSD card set as your main memory location instead of the phone's memory, you can transfer large files via Bluetooth.
