The Nokia E62 is a smartphone running the Symbian operating system. It comes loaded with Nokia's S60 user interface. Address book contacts, calendar entries and notes stored on an E62 can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook on a computer. Nokia PC Suite is a program that facilitates data synchronization between Nokia phones like the E62 and applications installed on the computer. Nokia PC Suite can be downloaded for free from the Nokia website.
Instructions
1. Connect your data cable to the USB connector on the bottom of your E62 and a USB port on your computer.
2. Launch Nokia PC Suite, then click the "Synchronize" button.
3. Select "Microsoft Outlook" from the drop-down menu, then click "Next."
4. Check the check boxes for the information you want to sync with Outlook. You can sync contacts, calendar entries, and notes. Click "Next."
5. Click the "Browse" buttons, then select the Outlook contact, calendar and task folders you want to sync with your E62. Click "Next." If you want to use the default Outlook folders, you do not need to click "Browse."
6. Set the date range for calendar entries that you want to synchronize. Calendar appointments and tasks that take place outside of this range will not be copied from either device to the other. Click "Next."
7. Check the "Synchronize when I click Finish" check box, click "Finish" then click "Synchronize Now."
