1. Configure the physical Bluetooth headset for pairing. In order to pair the handset, you must ensure that it is powered on. Press the headset's multifunction button, which can be found in the middle of most headsets. Continue holding the multifunction button down until the headset's LED light powers on. Open the headset's microphone while the light is still on. It should also remain on once you have while the microphone is open.


2. Enable the mobile phone's Bluetooth device settings. Press the mobile device's "Menu" key on the mobile keypad. You screen should display a list of options or icons regarding the functionality of your mobile device. Click on the "Settings" or "Settings and Tools" icon on your mobile screen. Scroll through the list and locate the "Connection" icon, then locate and access the "Bluetooth" subfolder.

Your phone should display an indication notifying you that your Bluetooth capability is now discoverable, which means you can now pair with other devices. Your Bluetooth device symbol should appear on your mobile device taskbar, which is usually next to your battery power indication icon. 4. Pair the headset with the mobile device. Select the model name of your Bluetooth headset when it appears on your mobile device screen. You will be prompted to enter a pass code for pairing confirmation. 5. Set the mobile Bluetooth device to "On" for permanent configuration of the headset. Press the "Menu" command on the mobile keypad. Go back to the "Settings" or "Settings and Tools" folder and select "Connections." The Bluetooth device folder will be listed as a subfolder in the "Connections" folder. This time, select the "Setup" command and scroll to "Power." Change these settings to "Power On" to permanently set the Bluetooth headset to the mobile device.
