There are numerous computer programs that you can use to make free international phone calls. Programs like Skype, Gizmo, Google Talk, Yahoo! Chat and others make it easy to connect directly to other users anywhere in the world, using the same program with a single click of the button. These Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) programs also offer low rates for calls made to international numbers, but they really shine when making program-to-program free calls.
Instructions
1. Plug in your microphone using the audio input cables or USB connection. If your computer has a built-in microphone that you intend to use, you can skip this step.
2. Download and install the VoIP program of your choice.
3. Launch the VoIP program.
4. Register your account, creating a user name and password and entering any other required information.
5. Share this contact information with the people you would like to call. They will also need to install the software on their computers and create accounts.
6. Log in to your account.
7. Configure the audio settings and confirm that your microphone is working correctly.
8. Add the contact information for those people you would like to call. You will have to gather this information from your contacts after they have installed the software and created an account with the VoIP service.
9. Select the person you would like to call and click "Dial" to connect with that person if they are online.
