The main usage of cell phones used to be for making phone calls. Over the years, the functionality of cell phones has grown vastly. Cell phones now are not just used for placing and receiving calls. Cell phones are video players, music players, GPS devices and much more. Nokia has a program that is free to download which allows you to sync information easily between your Nokia 5200 and PC, making it more convenient to take your music with you.
Instructions
1. Download and install Nokia PC Suite (see Resources).
2. Connect your Nokia 5200 to the computer via USB cable.
3. Open and continue to the main window of the Nokia PC Suite software. Select the "Transfer music" application. Nokia Music Manager will open.
4. Select "Scan PC" for the music files to add on your PC in the library.
5. Choose the folder containing the music files and select "Start Scan." Once the scan has completed, select "OK" and select "Continue."
6. Select the music tracks to be transferred to the device.
7. Select "Copy" to start transferring files to the device. Depending on the file formats of the selected files, the program will ask whether or not to convert the file(s) into a format optimised for the device.
8. Select "Yes" to accept. The bottom of the window will display the conversion and transfer status, along with information on how much space is on the device. Update the music library of the device after the transfer.
