Connecting a Bluetooth cell phone to an infrared cell phone will allow users to exchange any information they want.
Using the power of Bluetooth to connect from a Bluetooth-powered cell phone to an infrared cell phone is useful if you would like to share information from one cell phone to another. By using the two methods, you can share music, videos, photos, and personal files between the two phones. While this notion sounds appealing, it can be confusing for some individuals (especially those who are not cell phone savvy). Luckily, it is all fairly easy.
Instructions
1. Click the "Menu" (or the equivalent) in the cell phone that supports Bluetooth. Go to the "Bluetooth" category and click "Enable" to turn on Bluetooth.
2. Click the "Menu" (or equivalent) option in the infrared-supported cell phone. Click on the "Infrared" category and select "Enable" to enable infrared.
3. Click the "Menu" (or equivalent) button on the cell phone that supports Bluetooth and click "Bluetooth" once again. Select "Find Devices" and wait for a moment. Once the cell phone discovers the phone that has infrared, click on "Save" (or the equivalent).
4. Click the "Menu" (or equivalent) button once again and find the option entitled "Devices" (or the equivalent). You will see the name of the cell phone that supports infrared. Be sure the cell phone is in close range (being in an average sized room is in range). Click on the name of the cell phone and it will ask the other cell phone's permission to pair up (on some models, you will have to type in a code and the other person will have to type in the matching code on their cell phone). Once the two cell phones are paired up, then both cell phones are free to exchange any information they wish to share.
