Mobile Games For The 6600

The 6600 is a Nokia mobile phone launched in 2003 as part of their business phone range. The production of 6600 phones ended in 2007, but at the time of its launch the phone was one of the most advanced in its class. The 6600 has a screen resolution of 176 by 208 pixels and has support for MIDP 2.0 Java as well as Symbian games. The phone also features a five way scrolling joystick button which made it a popular choice for users who wanted game capabilities.

Racing Games

Many racing games like the "Need For Speed" franchise by Electronic Arts are available for the 6600. The 6600 is powerful enough to run 3D racing games as well as less performance intensive 2D titles. Besides the racing games that can be purchased from mobile game shops online there are free titles like "High Speed 3D" available for free as well.

Simulation Games

Simulation games like "The Sims 2" easily run on the 6600 and are ideal for gaming on the go. Because the 6600 runs on the "Symbian S60" operating system it can also run realistic 3D simulation games like "Virtual Pool Mobile" which is made for smart phones.

Arcade Games

The 6600 has plenty of arcade games available for it and a lot of them are free. You can download "Color Mix," which is a clone of the popular Bejeweled series, for free or download the original "Bejeweled" from the Popcap mobile store. There are many other arcade titles available for download.

Puzzle Games

While they generally don't feature ground breaking graphics, puzzle games are a staple of any mobile game collection due to their addictive nature. The 6600 has some free classics like Suduko available online as well as "Super Puzzle Bobble."
