Using your Nokia phone is easy
Nokia has many different cell phones that can perform a wide range of tasks. If you buy it brand new, it will come with a user's manual that will easily teach you step-by-step use a Nokia. That's the best way to learn get the most out of your phone's special features because each model is different.
Instructions
1. Insert the SIM card. If the phone is brand new, the phone will be taken apart. If you're putting a new SIM card into an old phone, you'll have to take it apart first. In order to do this, first lift off the battery cover and remove the battery. You will see a slot where you can insert the SIM card. The gold chip will be touching the sensors in the phone, and the card will only fit in one direction.
2. Replace the battery and the cover. If your phone is brand new, it will have to be connected to a charger to turn on. It's a good idea to let your phone fully charge before you use it for the first time. If your phone is already charged, just press and hold the red "end call" button. The button will have a red phone on it, and is usually across from the green "send call" button.
3. Go to your phone's settings and set up your background, ringtone, time, date, volume and more.To get there, you will first have to go into your phone's menu. On the bottom of your phone's screen, you will see the word "menu." Press the button the corresponding key (the key that lines up with the word) and you will open the menu options. Open the "settings" feature and you will see all of your customization options.
4. Dial a number by simply punching in the number and then pressing the "send" button. This button has a green phone on it.
5. Send a text message by going to your "messages" menu. Go into your phone's menu and open the "Messages" menu and go to "new message." Here you can enter a recipient's phone number, type out a message and send it.
6. Listen to your voicemail from the same menu. Under the "messages" menu, you will see an option for voicemail. Just open it and you will be able to call your voicemail number.
