Troubleshoot A Jabra Bluetooth

The Jabra Bluetooth headset is used to operate many of the calling features available on your mobile phone. You may run into some problems when using your Jabra headset. Most of the problems, such as noise in the headset and the inability to hear the other user, are common and fixable by the user. Other problems are caused when the headset is not paired correctly to the phone. Troubleshoot your headset to return it to working order.

Instructions

1. Move your mobile phone to the same side of your body as your headset if you hear crackling or other noises in the headset. The connection between the headset and the phone is more secure the closer the phone is to the headset.

2. Press the "+" button on the headset to raise the volume if you cannot hear anything. Though it may seem obvious, a low volume setting is a common reason for not hearing any transmissions on the headset.

3. Check to ensure that you haven't accidentally deleted the pairing from your phone. Each phone has a different method for checking connection information. Consult your phone's user manual for information on check the Bluetooth setting on your phone.

4. Pair the headset to the phone again if you still have problems with the headset. To pair the headset, press the "Pairing" button on the headset until the blue indicator light is on constantly. Have the phone search for Bluetooth devices and choose Jabra from the list. Enter the passkey "0000" and select "Yes" to finish pairing.
