Your Blackberry
has a unique PIN.
In today's world, we have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for many things---bank accounts, voice mail services, website log-ins and even our phones. PINs are generally present in two ways when referring to cell phones. GSM devices, which use a SIM card, have a four-digit PIN which can be used to lock the phone and prevent unauthorized use. Blackberry devices have a unique eight-digit alphanumeric PIN. A Blackberry's PIN serves multiple functions, including linking it to an enterprise server, aiding in troubleshooting, and adding contacts to Blackberry Messenger. Finding the PIN for any type of device is a relatively easy task.
