Unlock A Tmobile Samsung Sgh X495 Phone

Unlock SGH-X95 Mobile Phone

The Samsung SGH-X495 is designed for the T-Mobile network. This flip phone weighs approximately 3 ounces and is small enough to fit into a pocket. If you want to change cell phone providers, you will need to unlock the SIM card. Unlocking the SIM card will allow you to still use the phone, but under the plan of another provider. This will prevent you from having to purchase a new phone while under the new plan.

Instructions

1. Turn off the Samsung SGH X495 cell phone by holding down the "End" button for two seconds.

2. Remove the battery cover and battery from the back of the phone. Slide the battery lock towards the top of the phone and lift the cover and battery from the phone.

3. Remove the SIM card from the back of the phone by sliding it towards the top of the phone. The SIM card is stored underneath the battery.

4. Insert a new SIM card into the back of the phone. You can get a SIM card from your new cell phone provider either in store or online.

5. Replace both the battery and battery cover and turn on the cell phone by holding down the "Send" button.

6. Enter the following code using the phone's keypad: *#9998*3323#.

7. Select option number "7" to re-boot the cell phone.

8. Type *0141# once the phone turns back on and then press the "Send" button. The phone will turn off again.

9. Enter the phone's security number to unlock the phone. The default security is 00000000. The phone will unlock if the PIN is entered correctly.
