Cell Phones


Most brands and models of cell phones offer a speakerphone feature that allows users to talk hands-free without a hands-free device. On most cell phone models, the speakerphone feature is accessed by pressing a dedicated speakerphone key. In Motorola phones, this key is called the "Smart/Speakerphone" button. LG phones call this key the "Speakerphone" button, and the key that activates the speakerphone feature in Sony Ericsson phones is called "SpkrOn." Home Phones


Many home land line phones also offer a speakerphone feature that is varies in access depending on the phone's make and model. In Panasonic land line phones, the speakerphone feature is accessed when the "SP-Phone/Headset" button is pressed. Philips digital phones have a button with a "loudspeaker" icon to activate the speakerphone. AT&T phones have a button with a "speaker" icon to access the speakerphone feature. Deactivate the speakerphone by pressing the button again.
