The TracFone V170 is a prepaid cellphone manufactured by Motorola. It has a clam shell design and includes the following features: SMS text messaging, custom ring tones, convenient buttons, games and voicemail. This phone can also accommodate multiple languages. The TracFone V170 provides about 7 1/2 hours of talk time and about 12 1/2 days of standby time. The phone's voicemail feature uses only about one to three minutes of your phone time.
Instructions
1. Ensure your TracFone V170 is fully charged and on. Open the phone so you can press the buttons.
2. Press the buttons corresponding to your account's 10-digit TracFone V170 phone number. Press the "Send" button, located in the phone's upper left corner, by the left arrow button.
3. Put the phone's speaker to your ear. When you hear the automatic greeting, press the "#" button, located in the very bottom right corner. You will be asked for a pass code. Press 9999, the TracFone V170's default, temporary code.
4. Follow the instructions spoken by the automated voice. It will provide you with the most up-to-date instructions for setting up your voicemail service, including enter your preferred, individual pass code.
5. Press the "End" button when the automatic voice thanks you for your call. Press the "End" button quickly and release it so that you do not power down the phone. The "End" button is located on the TracFone V170's upper right side, by the right arrow button.
