Dental Schools In Central Florida

Dentistry is a growing field in Central Florida.

While very few people enjoy a trip to the dentist, many Americans hope to one day find employment in the dental hygiene profession. In Central Florida, numerous schools, colleges, and universities offer programs in dentistry. From rigorous academic institutions to part-time trade schools, Florida's aspiring dentists, dental assistants, dental radiologists and oral surgeons enjoy an ample and diverse selection of training programs.

Central Florida Institute

With campuses in both Orlando and Palm Harbor (in the Tampa Bay area), the Central Florida Institute offers a joint certificate in dental assistance and dental radiology, which the school claims can enhance a graduate's value in the job market. Students learn to sterilize instruments, make impressions, crowns and bridges, take dental X-Rays and handle administrative tasks.
