Pair a Bluetooth With a Nokia
Thanks to the widespread implementation of Bluetooth technology in cell phones, Bluetooth headsets have become one of the most popular cellphone accessories. Headsets allow users to safely operate a mobile phone hands-free, allowing them to divert their attention to tasks that otherwise would be dangerous, like driving a car. Motorola manufactures a range of headset models that are compatible with Nokia phones. Connection between the two devices is simple.
Instructions
1. Charge the headset before connecting it to the Nokia phone. Plug the charger into the rear of the headset. The headset's indicator light, located on the outside of the headset, will turn green when fully charged. This could take up to two hours.
2. Flip the headset's microphone or microphone boom into the open position to put the Motorola headset in pairing mode. Pairing mode is displayed by a steady purple or blue light from the headset indicator. For some models, the headset will automatically go into pairing mode when the headset is turned on.
3. Turn on the Nokia phone's Bluetooth feature. Select the "Settings Tools" option from the Main Menu, scroll down to the Bluetooth Menu and press "OK."
4. Highlight the "Add New Devices" option under the Bluetooth Menu and press the "OK" button. Choose the "Turn Bluetooth On" option. After a few moments, the headset's name will appear in the Bluetooth Devices list.
5. Highlight the name of the Motorola headset in the "Add New Devices" list in the Bluetooth menu of the Nokia and press "OK." Enter the phone's passkey to pair the devices. If you have not already entered one, use the factory default code (the default passcode is 0000). The headset connects to the phone and will automatically connect the next time the headset is turned on.
