Install Skype For Ipod

Use the Skype app on your iPod Touch to make Internet phone calls.


The iPod Touch, Apple's portable multimedia player, comes with a touch-screen display, two built-in cameras, a microphone and speaker, and it connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi. When you install the free Skype app on your iPod Touch, you can use it to send instant messages as well as make phone calls and video calls over the Internet. Use the Skype app on your iPod Touch to communicate with other people using Skype on their portable device or a computer running the Skype application. You can easily install the Skype app on your iPod Touch.


Instructions


1. Press the "Home" button, located below your iPod Touch screen.


2. Tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen, then tap "General." Tap "Wi-Fi" and tap the "Wi-Fi" option to "On." Tap the "Ask to Join Networks" option to "On" to set the iPod Touch to automatically seek Wi-Fi networks. Go to a location within the radius of a Wi-Fi network and type the password at the prompt, if required, to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi.


3. Press the "Home" button to go back to the iPod's home screen.


4. Tap the "App Store" icon.


5. Tap "Search." Type "Skype" in the search bar and then tap "Search" again. Tap "Skype" from the search results.


6. Tap the word "Free" which appears next to the Skype app. Tap "Install" and then enter your Apple ID. The Skype application downloads and installs on your iPod Touch. The Skype app icon appears on the device's home screen.
