Using a storage card lets you save plenty of pictures on your LG Vu.
The LG Vu has a fair offering of media programs built in, but the phone's 120 megabytes of memory can quickly disappear as you add audio or video files. If you need additional space, the phone is compatible with up to 4 gigabyte microSD cards, and if you're using a new card or if you want to erase your old one, you should "format" it, deleting all data from the card and preparing it for continued use. You can format the card using the phone's settings, or using your computer and the LG Vu's provided USB cable.
