Remove Google Mobile

Google Mobile is an application for smartphones, including iPhones and iPod Touches, BlackBerries, Windows Mobile-based devices and Nokia phones running the Symbian operating system. The Google Mobile app provides quick access to Google's mobile search engine, voice search, search history, search suggestions and automatic recognition of your location, so Google can show you local results. You can remove the Google Mobile app from your smartphone through its normal app removal process.


Instructions


iPhone and iPod Touch


1. Press and hold on any app icon on the home screen until the icons start to shake.


2. Tap the "X" icon in the top-right corner of the Google Mobile app's icon.


3. Tap "Delete."


4. Press the square-shaped "Home" button.


BlackBerry


5. Select "Options" on the home screen.


6. Select "Advanced Options" and "Applications."


7. Highlight "Google Mobile" in the list.


8. Press "Menu" and select "Delete."


9. Restart your BlackBerry.


Windows Mobile


10. Select "Start" and "Settings."


11. Select the "System" tab.


12. Click "Remove Programs."


13. Select "Google Mobile App" in the list.


14. Click "Remove," "Confirm" and "Done."


Symbian/Nokia


15. Select the folder containing Google Mobile, such as "Applications" or "My Own," from the menu.


16. Scroll through the list of applications and highlight "Google Mobile."


17.Select "Options."


18. Click "Remove" and "Confirm."
