Move applications from main memory to a media card on your Blackberry Storm.
Moving applications from your Blackberry's main memory to your media card will improve performance on your phone due to added free space. The media card holds extra applications as well, which will allow you to have more applications on your phone as long as you have the media card inserted. Moving the applications on your phone to your media card will free space and aid phone performance.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the Aerize website on your computer and click on "Try" to save Blackberry OS 4.2 Loader. You may also navigate to the Aerize website on your Internet enabled Blackberry.
2. Click "Download Aerize" and the Aerize software will install and load if you used the internet browser on your Blackberry. If you saved Aerize to your computer, proceed to step three. Otherwise proceed to step four.
3. Connect the USB cable into the USB port on the blackberry and into an available USB port on your computer. The Blackberry transfer menu will appear allowing you to transfer the Aerize software to your phone. Browse for the Aerize software and choose "Transfer" to send the software to your Blackberry memory. Press "OK." Install the Aerize software by pressing on the application in the application menu. The Aerize software will automatically install.
4. Press the "Applications" icon on your phone to enter your applications folder. Browse for the applications you would like to transfer. Click on the application select "Options" and select "Move to Card" to move applications from your Blackberry's main memory to a media card inserted in your Blackberry. You may keep the media card inserted in your Blackberry for a temporary memory improvement.
5. Remove the media card by ejecting it from the slot on the side of the Blackberry. Do this by pressing down on the media card and it will eject. Close the media card cover.
