Recover Deleted Messages On A Nokia E65

Recover deleted text messages on your Nokia E65 with a SIM card reading tool.

The Nokia E65 is a slider phone that was released in 2007. If you accidentally delete your text messages, there is an easy way to get them back. As long as the memory slots in which they reside were not overwritten, you can restore the messages using a special piece of hardware.

Instructions

1. Buy a SIM (subscriber identity module) reading device from an online store (See Resources). The device will allow you to access the messages on your phone's memory card. The device will cost about $70, as of 2010.

2. Remove the SIM reading CD software from the package. Install it on your PC or laptop by inserting the disk into your computer. Agree to the terms and conditions, click the "Next" button and wait for it to install.

3. Turn the Nokia E65 off, and remove the phone's battery and SIM card. Insert the SIM card into the slot allotted for it in the SIM reading device.

4. Plug the device into one of the USB ports of your computer or laptop. Wait for the computer to detect the device when you plug it into the USB port.

5. Click on the "Start" button on your computer. Under "Programs," look for the application that you just installed on your computer. Double-click on the icon to run the application.

6. Select the "File" tab on the application and click on "Download Text Messages." You can now view all messages stored on the card, including the deleted messages. The erased messages are usually marked in red.

7. Select the message that you want to retrieve, then right-click on it and select "Undelete." The message will be restored. Repeat this for every message you want to recover.
