The Nokia 2680 is a compact, sleek handset that is packed full of features. Designed with ease-of-use in mind, it allows you to stay connected with your friends and family. It has a VGA camera which allows you to share photos via Bluetooth, MMS or e-mail, it also boasts other media functions such as a radio and music player. You can stay organized by managing your schedule with the calendar and organizer.


Instructions


1. Insert the SIM card and battery, then switch on your phone. Slide the cover down from the top of the phone and remove the battery, next insert the SIM card in the direction shown on the phone. Replace the battery and cover and switch on your phone by pressing and holding the "power" button.


2. Make a call. Enter the phone number and press the "call" key (include the area or country code, if appropriate). Answer an incoming call by pressing the "call" key. Press the "end" key to reject an incoming call without answering.


Save time by using the speed dial function. Assign numbers to speed dial by pressing "Menu," "Contacts," "Speed dial," "Assign" then select a number from your list of contacts.


To make a call from speed dial, switch on speed dialing by selecting "Settings," "Call," "Speed dialing," "On." Then, in standby mode, select a number from 1 to 9, press and hold.


3. Send a text message or email. To send an MMS (multimedia messaging service) message, select "Menu," "Messaging," "Create message," "Message" in the "To" field enter a phone number or alternatively press "Add" to select a number from your contacts. Enter the text then press "Send."


To send an email, select "Menu," "Messaging," "Create message," "Message," "E-mail message" and enter the email address of the recipient, add text to the subject line and enter the text you wish to send, then press "Send."


4. Enable a Bluetooth connection or connect to the Internet. To switch on Bluetooth select. "Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," "Bluetooth," "On."


To assign a name to your phone that will be visible to other users select "Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," "Bluetooth," "My phone's name."


To pair and share information with other Bluetooth users, select "Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," " Bluetooth," "Paired devices," "Add new device," "Add" and you will be asked to enter a PIN code to enable pairing.


To connect your phone to Bluetooth enhancements such as a headset or hands-free car kit select ""Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," "Bluetooth," "Connect to audio enhancements."


5. Personalize your phone by changing the ring tones, themes and creating contact groups. To set or change ring tones, select "Menu," "Gallery," "Tones," "Ring tone" and select a ring tone from the list and press "open." To listen to the next one, press the scroll key to the right. To set the tone press "Back" choose the tone you wish to select by pressing "Options," "Use tone," "Set as ring tone."


To change the theme on your phone, select "Menu," "Gallery," "Themes" and choose a theme from the list then select "Apply."


You can organize your phone book by assigning your contacts into caller groups. To add a new contact select, "Menu," "Contacts," "Names," "Add new contact," fill in the information and press "Save."


To create a contact group select "Groups," "Add," assign a name to the group and then "Save." You can then press "View," "Add" to add contacts to the groups.


6. Use the media functions. To take a picture select "Menu," "Media," "Camera," "Capture." You can zoom in and out by scrolling up or down.


Use the video function to record a video clip, select "Menu," "Media," "Video," "Record." To vary the length of the video clip you want to record, select "Menu," "Media," "Camera," "Options," "Settings," "Video clip length."


To listen to FM radio, connect a compatible headset, select "Menu," "Media," "Radio" to locate radio stations scroll either right or left, to save a tuned radio station, select "Options," "Save station."


To use the voice recorder, select "Menu," "Media," "Recorder" then press the "Record" button when it appears on the display.


To listen to music using the media player, select "Menu," "Media," "Music Player."


7. Connect to the Internet. You can connect to various web services through your phone, you'll first need Internet configuration settings sent from your service provider to your phone. To set up access select "Menu," "Web," "Web Settings," "Configuration," "Configuration Settings."


To connect to the service, select "Menu," "Web," "Home."


To enter a web address, select "Menu," "Web," "Go to address," type in the address and then select "OK."
