It has automatic updates when new viruses become knows and will scan your computer for viruses every night. If it finds them it will notify you and remove them. The paid version of the software also offers protection within your e-mail and has identity protection tools among other offerings. The paid version can be had for $49.99 (as of 2009).

McAfee also offers virus removal and protection for Windows computers. First, they offer a virus removal service. If you know that your computer is infected, McAfee will remove the virus or viruses for you for $89.95. This service is a combination of over the phone and the Internet. This product also offers identity theft protection and other tools to help protect your Windows computer while surfing online. Finally, they also offer Security for Ultra Portables. This software is built to find and remove viruses from netbooks. Kaspersky Lab sells this for $39.95.
Choosing the Right One
When deciding which Windows virus removal tool to use, look at a combination of price and features. If you use the Internet heavily, you might want to pick software that is built to protect you from infection while surfing online and that has strong removal tools based on the same thing. If you rarely use the Internet than a less-expensive or even free tool might work better for you. Whatever one you choose, just be sure to use some antivirus protection.
