Models Of Nokia Mobiles

This cell phone is an early, classic model Nokia.


Nokia, based in Helsinki, Finland, was an early leader in mobile-phone technology. Nokia has offices in the United States, Brazil, China, Singapore, India, United Arab Emirates and Russia. In the U.S., Nokia phones can be used with T-mobile, Verizon and AT&T. The company's "unlocked" cell phones can be used with any service provider. As of December 2010, Nokia offers 26 models of phones, divided into five categories based on the design.


Classic


Nokia continues to produce two cell phones in the classic design: the 1661 and the 2730. These phones have alphanumeric keyboards positioned below the display. As of December 2010, prices for these phones were $33 and $99, respectively.


Fold


There are two models of Nokia cell phones with a fold design: the 6350 and the 7020. These phones have a display screen that folds over the push buttons when the phone is not in use. As of December 2010, Nokia offered the 6350 for free, while the 7020 sold for $99.


Slide


Nokia offers four models of cell phones with keyboards that slide out from the display: the 6790, the 6700 slide, the X3 and the N900. Both the 6790 and the N900 have QWERTY keyboards. As of December 2010, prices for this type of phone ranged from $129 to $209.


Touch Screen


Nine models of Nokia mobile phones have a touch screen: the C3 Touch and Type, the C6, the N8, the N900, the X6 16 GB, the 5230, the 5230 Nuron, the 5530 XPressMusic and the 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition. Nokia's prices for these phones ranged from $159 to $449, as of December 2010.


QWERTY Keyboards


Nokia offers six models with full QWERTY keyboards below the display: C3, E5, E63, E71, E71x and E72. Prices for these phones ranged from free for the E71x, to $349, as of December 2010.
