You need to unlock your Sony Ericsson W350 to be able to use it with a network other than the one from which you purchased the phone. You can unlock the phone easily without the hassle of going to a phone unlocking professional or buying any hardware equipment. You just have to purchase a mobile unlock code from a website that sells them. Your Sony Ericsson W350 will then be unlocked from the original network and can be used with another one.
Instructions
GSM Liberty
1. Go to the website GSM Liberty (see Resources).
2. Enter your phone's IMEI number in the "Phone's IMEI" field and click the "Add to Cart" button.
3. Select a payment method (PayPal or credit card) on the next page and click the "Buy Now" button.
4. Enter the billing details including your email address and make the payment. As of August 2010, this website will charge you $44.99 for the unlock code for your Sony Ericsson W350. You will receive the unlock code at your email address after you make the payment.
5. Enter the unlock code into the phone.
Unlock it Now
6. Visit the website Unlock it Now (see Resources).
7. Enter your name, email address, your phone's IMEI number and select the network to which the phone is currently locked from the "Unlock Tool" dropdown list.
8. Click the "Place Order" button. Then provide your billing details on the next page and proceed to checkout. The unlock code will be emailed to you at the email address you have provided, after you make the payment.
9. Enter the code into your Sony Ericsson W350 to unlock it.
Unlocking
10. Go to the website Unlocking (see Resources) to get the unlock code for your Sony Ericsson W350.
11. Click the "Unlock Now" button on the webpage that opens.
12. Enter your name, phone number, email address and your phone's IMEI and serial number (you can see the serial number labeled "S/N" on the sticker underneath the phone's battery). Then check "I agree to the Unlocking.com Terms & Conditions" and click the "Continue" button.
13. Enter your payment details and complete the order. As of August 2010, you will be charged $29.95 for the unlock code. You will get the unlock code and unlocking instructions through email within one week (according to the website).
