Uninstall An Application From A Nokia N95

The Nokia N95 is a sleek, stylish, multimedia phone that supports multiple applications such as games, video playback and Internet capability. Sporting a 5 mega pixel camera, built-in GPS and world maps, it's the perfect complement to the portable media enthusiast.

As a phone that supports multiple applications, you may want to remove some of them to create memory space. Whether it's a game you don't play anymore, or a program that you no longer use, removing applications creates more space to install others.

Instructions

Uninstall Themes

1. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Another option is to plug the memory card from your phone into the computer's memory card. Most computers now come with these ports.

2. Double-click "My Computer" on your desktop. You should see your memory card labeled as a hard drive. Double-click your memory card to open it.

3. Double-click the folder labeled "PRIVATE" then open the folder labeled "10207114." Locate the "Import" folder and delete the contents in it to uninstall all themes on your Nokia N95.

4. Locate the ".SKN" file and open it with notepad, if you want to uninstall one theme. When you see the name of the theme, you can then delete it.

Uninstalling Applications

5. Reinstall the application that you are trying to uninstall on your phone. You will be asked if you want to replace existing files during the reinstallation.

6. Press "OK" to complete the installation and replace the existing application files. When you are done, do not open the application.

7. Go to the phone's menu and delete the application. If it is not in the menu, go to the phone's application manager and delete the application from there.
