Set Up Bluetooth On A Samsung Instinct Sphm850

The Samsung Instinct HD SPH-M850 is a Sprint smartphone that features Bluetooth wireless. Bluetooth technology allows you to connect your phone to wireless headsets and speakers. You can also send contacts, pictures and multimedia files to other Bluetooth-enabled devices close by. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone and pair the Instinct with other devices from the "Settings" menu.


Instructions


Activating Bluetooth and Pairing


1. Press the "Home" button on your smartphone, tap "Main" and then tap "Settings."


2. Tap "Bluetooth" and drag the slider to the "On" position to activate your phone's Bluetooth function. Your phone will display new Bluetooth options below the slider.


3. Enable pairing mode on the device that you want to pair with your Samsung Instinct smartphone.


4. Tap "Trusted Devices" to search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Once the device you want to pair appears in the list of results, tap it, enter its security PIN and tap "Done."


Sending Contacts Via Bluetooth


5. Press the "Phone" button on your Samsung Instinct and tap "Contacts" to view your address book.


6. Tap the contact you want to send to another Bluetooth device and then tap "Send Contact." Your phone will search for Bluetooth devices and display the results on the screen.


7. Tap the Bluetooth device that will receive your contact and tap the "Send" button.

8. Press the "Home" button on your Instinct, tap the "Fun" icon and tap "My Photos."


9. Tap "Camera," then tap the Bluetooth icon on the left side of the phone's touch-screen.


10. Highlight one or more pictures that you want to send to the other Bluetooth device and then tap "OK." Your smartphone will search for nearby Bluetooth devices and display the results on the screen.


11. Tap the name of the Bluetooth device to which you want to send your pictures.
